  I was weighing up between the Holden Trailblazer and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Having received great friendly service and a 24 hour test drive of the Pajero Sport through Baker Mitsubishi I called McRae to do the same. I spoke to Chris Smedley who was straight away rude and abrupt and said they didn't do overnight test drives which is ironic given Holden are the ones who actually advertise doing so. When I reminded him of such he told me he would see what he could "wrangle" and call me back. By the time he got back to me I had decided I wasn't prepared to make a $60,000 dollar purchase with them given the service I had received and very politely informed him of this. He continued to be rude then proceeded to get angry and tell me I obviously had no intention of buying a vehicle in the first place. In actual fact I have a car loan approved and was ready to buy if it proved to suit us better than the Pajero Sport. I probably should have learnt my lesson years ago when I went to McRae to buy an SSV Commodore Ute with cash in the bank and wasn't taken seriously. Ended up buying in Melbourne and guess I will be looking there again. I would suggest anyone to avoid McRae and especially Chris Smedley at all costs.

  Overall great experience from Chris and the Team, very pleased with the end result. Everyone was very helpful and friendly making it a great and easy experience with the purchase of our very first NEW car. A+++
