2 stars because (I assume) they completed the service, and because the lady behind the desk and the man who gave me a drop off were nice, but that the end of my good experience.

It was really a pleasure dealing with them especially Maurice. What separates them from the most dealers that I've dealt with is their after sales. I literally had 0 issues with them and they are very quick to respond to my GST(exporting) issue and even gave me advice on how i can advice other dealers to do the same. TLDR: If you care about aftersales service, then choose blacklocks.

Matt Liersch at the used car div in Albury was great to deal with. I thru him some curve balls but he rose to the challenge and delivered big time. I had to fly in from sydney so was relying on his honesty with the description of the Kia Sorrento. It was as good as he said, actually better. price was right as well. I strongly recommend Matt at Blacklocks.

Blacklocks Ford really went over and above my expectations with my recent purchase. I have absolutely no qualms and their service, professionalism and business manner was great and easy to deal with. I would certainly recommend them.

Great friendly staff easy to get along with. And the work was carried out to my satisfaction.

Having recently moved to the area, I took my car to have it's regular service and get a roadworthy for my car. They wouldn't give me the roadworthy as they said the driver rear view mirror needed fixing (it was secure and had perfect vision - only issue was that the casing enclosing it had come off). It would be $600 for the part + labor. No thanks - took it elsewhere to get the roadworthy.

Two months and about 1,000 km later, my car started displaying an "engine malfunction" light. Took it to a mechanic recommended by a friend who found two issues with it.

The second issue was a part that was so gunked up and filthy, it was affecting the performance of the vehicle. The mechanic told me that this is such a regular thing that they come across that cleaning this part is now part of the regular service they do on all cars who have it. Apparently not something Ford offer in their services though!

One was a kinked hose - fairly recent occurrence they said. I can only assume it was Blacklocks who did it because A) they were the last ones who went into the engine and B) would have had to take major parts of it out for the major service they'd done.

I had already decided not to go to Ford service centers anymore - they are EXPENSIVE and don't seem to have any idea how to do anything but tick a list of items of a to-do list, and this experience has just reinforced that me and my car will be far better off with an independent mechanic who actually know what they're doing.
